About NEU SIS' Project TEAMWORK

The Mission of Project TEAMWORK to raise the awareness of young people around the issues of inequality and discrimination, teach practical conflict resolution skills, and empower them to make positive changes in society. Founded in 1990 and funded with a grant from Reebok, Project TEAMWORK has worked with over 160,000 young people making positive changes in their lives. In 1993 Project TEAMWORK was honored with the Peter F. Drucker Award as the most innovative non-profit program in the social sector and in 1995, then President Clinton recognized PTW as a model violence prevention program.
